UNDERSTANDING ARTHRITIS

Osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis are 2 of the most commom types of the disese. Although anyone can get arthritis, women are at greater rist. Approximately 23 million men have arthritis, accounting for nearly two third of all cases.


You may be familiar with some of the symptoms of arthritis: pain, stiffness, and swelling in or around the joints. People with arthritis may find if difficult to perform many normal, everyday activities or even simple movements, such as getting out of car or opening a jar. Life may be a lot harder- and more painful- than it used to be.
